Shadow's fur colour has gone through the most remarkable changes. When she first arrived, her fur was solid black. After
about a month and a half, she had a 3 week period of growing brown fur - it looked like she was in need of a dye job. Then
it resumed growing black again.
So each hair has one inch of black, half inch of brown, and another half inch of
black at the tips. (????)
Sunny is at his gawkiest stage yet. He is all bones, fur and paws. At about 3 months of age, he went through a stage of
shedding more fur into the brush than usual. Although he still doesn't shed onto furniture or clothes, we wonder if the non-shedding
trait will last into his adulthood - he looks so much the retriever.
....still doing the cute sleeping together thing....
